-How will I know if got a fellowship?
We will contact you by email to inform you if you won a fellowship or not. Check the date on the Application page.

– How do I get from the airport to Erice?
A private shuttle will pick you up from the airport. You will also have a lift on your way back from Erice to the airport on the departure day.

-At what airport will I arrive?
You will arrive either at Palermo or Trapani.

-Can I arrive a day early?
No, your stay is strictly organized for the days announced. For this reason it’s also impossible to delay your departure.

-Who will book my flight?
A travel agency will take care of that. Please note that picking the airline and flight schedule is up to them.

-Can I change my flight destination?
No, your flight is point-to-point. The city you first departed from needs to be the same you come back to.

-Were will I stay?
Arrangements are made by the Ettore Majorana Foundation. You will be provided a double room (you can suggest your roommate), with ensuite bathroom in one of the four local ancient monasteries. In order to preserve the traditional atmosphere the rooms are kept plain, with no radio or TV. You’ll be granted free wifi access though.

-Are meals included?
Yes, breakfast will be served in one of the monasteries. You’ll have lunch and dinner in local restaurants.

-Can I bring a companion?
Because of the nature of the event, we advise against bringing a companion. If you’re willing to take someone with you though, please note that their expenses won’t be covered by the fellowship.

-Do I need to bring my own laptop?
Yes, we strongly suggest you bring your own laptop or tablet.

-Do I need to attend the whole program?
Yes, attendance at all of the sessions is required.
